In a world facing an ever increasing security threat, the provision of effective defence solutions has never been so important. With this in mind, Streit Group is gearing up to showcase its world-class range of armored vehicles at KADEX 2014 – taking place in Astana, Kazakhstan, this week.
Streit Group is the worlds leading, privately-owned, armored vehicle manufacturer. Founded more than a decade ago by Chief Executive, Guerman Goutorov, the company began as nothing more than a handful of tools, a rented garage and some overextended credit. Guerman’s vision was to create the most innovative, dynamic and cost effective protection vehicles the market has ever seen. Streit’s first contract was for three amored vans, and today the company employs a workforce of more than 300 skilled craftsmen in twelve production facilities around the globe, producing more than 500 armored vehicles each month. So well designed were those initial vans, they are still in service to this day.
It’s been quite a journey for Streit, as Guerman explains: “From the beginning I have wanted to provide the military and our civillian customers with peace of mind, ensuring that we have put the best R&D in to designing vehicles that can really make a difference. For me, it is vital that every single vehicle we manufacture and produce must have that same standard of quality as the first three vans, whilst we are constantly maintaining innovative solutions to help our customers stay one step ahead of the next threat.
Streit is in a really strong position and we want to tell the world what we can do – which is why we are attending KADEX for the first time this year. It will be a fantastic opportunity for us to meet customers face-to-face, and show our capabilities and our range of vehicles.”
Streit Group will be presenting a range of its armored vehicles at this prestigious exhibition, as well as demonstrating the latest in armored technology and innovation.
The range of models on display will include: COBRA, COUGAR, SCORPION, SPARTAN and TYPHOON – all ideally suited for off-road challenges, border control, law enforcement and other military and homeland security operations. Guerman concludes: “Streit Group is dedicated to supporting Kazakhstan with all its current and future armored vehicle requirements, we look forward to the opportunity to meet customers this week and show how we can meet their future security needs.”
