The Revolutionary FLIR ONE is available to buy this week in 27 European Countries.

FLIR Systems announced yesterday that the FLIR ONE™ thermal imaging accessory for smartphones will be available for order online this week across 27 European countries at FLIR.com and in 18 European countries through Apple.com. The award-winning FLIR ONE is a lightweight accessory that transforms an iPhone 5 or 5s into a powerful thermal imager. When paired with its iPhone app, FLIR ONE displays live infrared imagery that allows the user to see the world from a thermal perspective.

FLIR ONE detects invisible heat energy, giving consumers the ability to “see” and measure minute variances in temperature. FLIR ONE enables a host of practical solutions for consumers — from detecting energy leaks at home to seeing in complete darkness. For the first time, FLIR ONE brings powerful energy saving and situational awareness capabilities to a smart phone platform. Integrating FLIR’s ground-breaking Lepton® thermal imaging micro-camera core plus a visible camera, the FLIR ONE provides FLIR’s patented MSX® Technology that brings sharp detail to the thermal images.

FLIR ONE detects a wide range of temperatures and has a spot temperature measurement display. Users can capture either photos or videos and share them via text, email, or social media through the FLIR ONE app, which is available in the Apple App Store. In addition, a variety of artistic and functional FLIR ONE supporting apps are available in the Apple App store that allow users to take close-up photos, time-lapse video, panoramic photos, and hybrid thermal plus visible-light images.
