Russia could cover 1/5th of the UAV global market by 2035

(Source: Army Recognition) – Russia to reach $35-40 billion of business to the global unmanned aerial vehicle market by 2035

Russia’s share of the global unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) market may total $35-40 billion by 2035. The market will have been $200 billion by then. The forecast has been made by the organizing committee of the HeliRussia 2017 show, referring to a report made during the Legal Framework and Practical Aspects of UAV Operations Conference held in Moscow on February 9.

According to the organizing committee, more than 4 million small UAVs were sold worldwide in 2015, with the volume of sales expected to increase to 100 million units by 2025. (…)
