Marine Corps Forces Special Operations Command (MARSOC) will build a new training complex in Camp Lejeune in North Carolina. In two years, MARSOC will have in this place a new center to train its special operators. The contract amount is about 27 millions $.

DPR Hardin Whitesell-Green, Inc. JV, Atlanta, is being awarded $27,546,924 for firm-fixed-price task order 0004 under a previously awarded multiple award construction contract (N40085-10-D-5333) for construction of a Special Operations Forces Sustainment Training Complex at Marine Corps Base, Camp Lejeune. The work to be performed provides for the construction of a the sustainment training complex and miscellaneous supporting structures/utilities/infrastructure for small arms and breaching activities required for East coast- based units assigned to U. S. Marine Corps Forces Special Operations Command. Work will be performed in Jacksonville, North Carolina, and is expected to be completed by August 2016. Fiscal 2014 military construction funds in the amount of $27,546,924 are being obligated on this award and will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was procured via the Navy Electronic Commerce Online website, with four proposals received. The Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Mid-Atlantic, Norfolk, Virginia, is the contracting activity.
